Hi, my name is Melanie Jarocki, and I am a SAHM of 5 awesome kids--ages 2, 5, 7, 8, and 11--two girls and three boys. When my oldest daughter was born 11 years ago, I started scrapbooking. It has been a great hobby for me because I get to create fun projects and record our family memories at the same time. My kids love looking through their albums which makes it all the more worth it to me. I love seeing how my style has stayed the same, yet changed as well, over the years. My style is pretty simple and linear. I love adding embellishment clusters, circles, and stitching. New product always inspires me to create. My scrapbooking is usually done in snippets of time throughout the week. In addition to layouts, I love making cards, banners, and mini-albums.

Our familiy enjoys playing games together, dancing in the family room, and exploring the area where we live. When I have a few extra minutes, I love playing the piano, reading to my kids, or baking yummy treats for family and friends. I'm not much of a cook though. Thankfully, my wonderful husband likes to work in the kitchen. We are treated to his gourmet meals every weekend (and I hope for lots of leftovers to use during the week!). We look forward to visits with grandparents and cousins who live not-too-far-away, and our annual trip to Nana's when we get to go to Disneyland. Some random things about me include: my favorite color is yellow; I have collection of over 200 insect specimens; and I was a two-time arm-wrestling champion in college (LOL)! My dream right now is to save up enough money to take DH to Tahiti for our 20th wedding anniversary in 2015.

Hi All, my name is Patricia Kumfer (aka Patty). I am an Army Wife, Mother, College Student, Animal Rights Activist, Artist, and Crafter. My family and I are currently living in North Carolina and are stationed at Fort Bragg. Moving is our life as of now, so I’m always prepared for the “honey we got orders” speech during dinner. LOL. I have been paper crafting for 8 years. It all started when I was a high school senior wanting to make a scrapbook, I then became hooked. I love trying new techniques and staying new with the current trends. Everyone always asks me which I prefer layouts, cards, or altered items; BUT I have to admit I LOVE them all. It’s always fun to mix it up. I can’t be more thrilled to be a part of the Paper Poises Team.

Hi, my name is MaryAnn Metcalf. I am the wife to my high school sweetheart, Mike and the mom to three great kids who are growing up way too fast! They definitely keep our life interesting and I wouldn't want it any other way. We live in Mesa, Arizona and love the hot summers and warm winters here in the southwest. I have been scrapping since the birth of my youngest son and my only regret is that I didn't start sooner and realize the importance of taking lots of pictures of our lives! The thing that I love the most about scrapping is that I am telling the story of our family through pictures and journaling and truly try to focus on those two areas. I don't know if I can define my scrapping "style" but I do know that I love trying new products and challenging myself to try new techniques. I also love studying other's work and learning from what I see. Photography is a fairly new love of mine and I'm working on improving my knowlege and skills in that area. Some of my other hobbies include rubber stamping, reading, traveling, and hanging out with my family.
